  • Archbishop of Canterbury to visit the Holy Land: Archbishop Welby will make a high-profile, 12-day trip to Israel in May, mainly to encourage Christian communities in the region. Read more here.

  • London terror attack not the only one this week: Less high-profile attacks have occurred this week in Paris and Antwerp. On the same day as the Westminster attack, Boko Haram took eight lives in a suicide blast on a Nigerian highway; the day before, car bombs in Afghanistan and Somalia killed at least ten, and on Monday an Islamic State car bomb in Baghdad killed 23 and injured more than 40.   • US-Israeli citizen arrested in Israel over anti-Semitic bomb threats: An 18-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of being behind the spate of fake bomb threats sent to Western Jewish communities in the last six months. Read more here.
  • Anti-BDS summit to be hosted at UN next week: A special conference on the de-legitimisation of Israel will be held at the UN headquarters in New York on 29 March. Read more here.

  • UN ‘apartheid’ report shelved and senior official resigns: Outcry at a UN report accusing Israel of ‘apartheid’ has led to the report being taken down and the resignation of Rima Khalaf, head of the sub-group that authored it. Read more here.

  • BDS co-founder arrested for tax evasion: prominent anti-Israel campaigner Omar Barghouti has been arrested by Israeli authorities for concealing some $700,000 worth of income. Read more here.
