  • Diana Johnson's abortion bill fails at second reading: The radical bill has failed due to opposition from a number of MPs, and is unlikely to progress any further during this Parliamentary session. Read more here.
  • Teacher voices concern over trans grooming: A teacher from a school where 17 children are changing gender has spoken up, under a pseudonym, concerned that older trans children are ‘grooming’ younger ones to follow them. Read more here.
  • 999 services pressured by trans activists to drop ‘sir’ and ‘madam’: The London Ambulance service is reportedly considering switching to gender-neutral language after activists brand the traditional terms of address ‘old-fashioned’ and ‘potentially offensive’. Read more here.

  • Archbishop Welby denies God is male: The Archbishop, speaking in London on Monday, joined a number of clerics seeking to move away from traditional notions of God as male, saying that “God is not male or female. God is not definable”. Read more here.

World Scene

  • European Court submits to Islam: The European Court of Human Rights has ruled to protect Islamic blasphemy laws that prevent criticism of the prophet Mohammad, finding an Austrian woman guilty for calling Mohammad a paedophile. Read more here. Meanwhile, a Polish Holocaust memorial has been desecrated with vile pro-ISIS, anti-Semitic graffiti.
  • Jewish hearts for Pittsbugh: In the wake of the shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue, two local ladies have invited crafters around the world to contribute Stars of David to hang around the city to encourage local residents. So far, over 2,000 knitted, crocheted and hand-made stars have been sent in. Read more here.
  • US abortions hit record low: Following the passage of Roe vs. Wade in 1973, US abortions peaked in the 1980s and have been in decline ever since. Latest statistics bear this out. Read more here.
  • US forces to stay long-term in Syria: The US is now committing not only to help stabilise the area post-ISIS, but to oust Iran from the region completely. Read more here. Meanwhile, a former CIA director has said that the Iranian regime is playing for time, doing its best to outlast the Trump administration. Read more here.

Israel & Middle East

  • Netanyahu narrowly avoids early elections: The Israeli PM has managed to stabilise the Government following the shock departure of Defense Minister Liberman, taking on the role of Defense Minister himself and persuading coalition partners to stay put. Read more here. Meanwhile, the Shin Bet has foiled a major Hamas terror plot targeting the West Bank. Cynically, Hamas used a Palestinian cancer patient receiving treatment in Israel to pass intel.
  • PA cracks down on Palestinians selling land to Jews: Two Palestinians have been sentenced to 15 years of hard labour for selling land to Israeli Jews. Read more here. Also this week, the Gatestone Institute has sought to expose the PA’s habit of arresting women who dare to contradict its rule – to the total disinterest of international humanitarian groups and media.
  • Scientists try to explain Sodom and Gomorrah evidence: A secular academic paper proposes a meteor explosion theory to explain a sudden fiery destruction that destroyed civilisation on the Dead Sea plains some 3,700 years ago. The archaeological evidence is in in complete congruence with the Genesis account. Read more here.
