Peace in Jerusalem (Gardner, 2015)

'Peace in Jerusalem: But the battle is not over yet!' by Charles Gardner (Olive Press, 2015, 241 pages).

A personal account of the author's attendance at a conference called At the Crossroads, organised by CMJ and held at Christ Church, Jerusalem, in 2014. The aim of the conference was to bring together, by special invitation, Arab Christians and Jewish followers of Jesus to support and encourage each other and to deepen bonds of fellowship. It was a remarkable example of Arab and Jew embracing each other in the name of Jesus, breaking down barriers as 'one new man' (Eph 2:14-16). The author also tackles wider issues concerning Israel and the Middle East, arguing for a biblical perspective.
