Sheer Lunacy

Banks and police join government in bowing to LGBT agenda

In a jaw-dropping demonstration of sheer lunacy, the latest example of institutional pandering to our politically-correct culture comes from the police.

Limitless sexualities

Less than 50 years after humans landed on the moon, we hear that Thames Valley Police have partnered with an organisation that promotes a myriad of ‘gender’ identities including – wait for it – lunagender! MyUmbrella.org.uk defines each of 147 genders alongside pictures of their separate flags.1 And the Daily Telegraph reports that police forces are not interested in applications from anyone who believes that individuals cannot change their sex.2

Meanwhile Ofsted are ready to mark down schools that don’t teach about LGBT relationships.3 Schools that fail to adequately abide by the Government’s new relationships and sex education curriculum will be judged as no better than ‘requires improvement’.

Landslide of depravity

You begin to wonder at what depth of depravity our nation has to sink before someone rescues us from the miry pit. You may well have thought things couldn’t possibly get any worse, but did you know there is now a global move to normalise paedophilia4 – a practice almost too degrading to mention, and for which our media would probably still use the word ‘deviant’ or ‘pervert’ to describe practitioners.
However, Minor-Attracted Person (MAP) is a new term created in an attempt to make this kind of sexual deviancy an acceptable social norm, rather like using ‘sex worker’ for ‘prostitute’.

I believe the moral perversion we are witnessing today is far more serious in its long-term effects than coronavirus. We are racing headlong down a slippery slope into a hellish society where you dare not say or write anything that may offend the sensibilities of perceived victims.

Political Banking

And when members of the gay community decide to escape from same-sex attraction, they are mercilessly pursued by the poison pens of social media ‘police’ – and even by the big institutions. Mike Davidson, of the Core Issues Trust, set up to counsel those who voluntarily wish to leave their homosexual lifestyles behind, has incurred the wrath of Barclays Bank, no less, who have succumbed to LGBT pressure by closing the Trust’s bank accounts.5

I have since also learnt that Barclays is the major Pride in London sponsor, all of which leaves me facing a crisis of conscience, as I have been associated with this bank for nearly 50 years, initially working at their international headquarters in the City of London. I have written to the chief executive officer threatening to transfer my money to other banks unless they reverse their decision over CIT. I do believe you have to put your money where your mouth is!

According to campaign group, Christian Concern, many testimonies exist of people who have moved away from same-sex desires or behaviours, or who have de-transitioned from a transgender identity. But you’d hardly know it from mainstream news sources.6

But taking this ‘mark’ will mean you have effectively sold yourself to the devil.

End Times scenario

Little surprise, then, that the future of banks – and the economy in general – is decidedly shaky. We hear, for instance, that an eye-watering £50 billion of banknotes have gone missing, according to the National Audit Office.7 The watchdog’s report comes as the use of notes and coins has fallen sharply over the last decade, and will no doubt have spiralled down further since the onset of the Covid pandemic, quite conceivably triggering calls for a cashless society of the kind predicted in the Book of Revelation (Rev 13:15-17). The latter scenario will presumably come about through a high-tech implant without which you will be unable to buy or sell goods. But taking this ‘mark’ will mean you have effectively sold yourself to the devil.

Could we be that close to the final days preceding the return of Christ, when Christians in particular will come in for severe testing? Wake up, believers! While you have a voice, use it! Like Ezekiel and others, speak out boldly against idolatry and other detestable practices (see Ezekiel 8:6) and fill the vacuum of truth with the glorious gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. While ever you have breath, preach it, and sing this song: “On Christ the solid rock we stand; all other ground is sinking sand.”
