  • Abortion up to full term bill passes to second reading: the motion, introduced by Diana Johnson MP, passed on 13 March by 172 to 142 votes; the bill will have its second reading on 24 March. Read more here.
  • No right of withdrawal from sex ed? National Secular Society pushes for secondary level sex education to be compulsory, with no parental right to withdraw, as the Government’s new relationships education bill makes its way to the Lords. Read more here.
  • British taxpayers fund hatred in Palestinian schools: The Daily Mail revealed this week that 24 Palestinian Authority schools receiving British funding are actively indoctrinating children with hatred and violence towards Israel. Read more here and read the Mail’s expose here.
  • Former archbishop joins fresh call for assisted suicide: Lord Carey joins Labour peer Baroness Jay in calling for Parliament to revisit current laws. Read more here.

  • Fears of coming chemical attack in Europe: Israel is planning to warn its citizens taking European holidays this year to be vigilant as ISIS is expected to carry out further attacks in major cities. Read more here.
  • German newspapers label Netanyahu ‘Führer’: two German tabloids have listed Netanyahu on a list of the world’s seven ‘looniest leaders’. Read more here.
  • French Government moves to shut down anti-abortion free speech: French websites that campaign for life can now be subject to criminal prosecution, with sentencing of up to two years in prison. Pro-life groups are already banned from protesting outside abortion clinics. Read more here.

  • UN accuses Israel of apartheid: A new report from a UN subsidiary body (made up of 18 Arab states) uses the libellous term in relation to Israel, giving further ammunition to the BDS campaign and anti-Israel groups. Read more here.
