The long and fruitful years of the Lord’s ministry through Clifford and Monica Hill have resulted in many blessings to His people.
For some, it has centred the blessings of shared fellowship and sound teaching at the online Sunday Gatherings, organised by Issachar Ministries. For others it has been found in the oughtful weekly updates and insights from Prophecy Today. For others still it has been in the ongoing stream of Clifford and Monica’s books and memoirs.
They are all different, but complementary fruits of the same ministry, faithfully developed and pursued under the Lord’s hand over many years for the blessing and encouragement of His people.
This is so that whatever lies ahead – and whomsoever the Lord calls into the ranks of his Issachar People in the days and months to come – true believers will find in this ministry a gateway to an ever deeper and wider set of biblically resonant resources.
All these threads and resources have served as a banner of biblical truth to bless and equip what Cliff and Monica have always called an ‘Issachar people’ - the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, (1 Chron. 12:32).
As the world around us grows darker, we believe the time has come to pull various threads of ministry even closer together. This is so that whatever lies ahead – and whomsoever the Lord calls into the ranks of his Issachar People in the days and months to come – true believers will find in this ministry a gateway to an ever deeper and wider set of biblically resonant resources.

Hearing As One
Nick Szkiler, Head of Issachar Ministries
I met the late Dennis Wrigley, founder, and leader of the Maranatha Community, in 2010. He was part of a coalition of Christian leaders called Together for the Nation. Issachar Ministries' founder Dr Clifford Hill was also involved in that group, and I remember him describing – at the first meeting I attended in Westminster - how God was going to ‘shake the pillars of our society until only that which is built on his righteousness would remain.’ Dennis and Clifford, like many others of the leaders present at the meetings, held strong opinions on issues of the day and undoubtedly had prophetic insight.
Dennis went to be with the Lord in 2015. The Maranatha Community website says this in its tribute to his life: ‘Dennis yearned for the church to truly be the living presence of Christ and, from an early age had a vision of Christians from all denominations coming together to worship God. His passionate commitment to listening to God governed everything that he did – his desire above all else was to be obedient to the Master and Friend he loved and served.’
We did not go to that gathering with any pre-conceived idea of an outcome, but we believe we did indeed hear together as one.
Dennis impacted the lives of many people and my strongest memory of him is when he urged the leaders involved in our group to come before the Lord in humility - like children. He said that if we gathered as one, to worship as one, to pray as one and to listen as one – then we would hear as one. He spoke with great wisdom, and he was absolutely right in what he said.
Last week the Issachar Ministries trustees and team, along with some team members of our sister Ministry, Prophecy Today UK, met over 24 hours at Launde Abbey in Leicestershire. We came before the Lord to worship, pray and listen together in much the same way Dennis Wrigley described. We did not go to that gathering with any pre-conceived idea of an outcome, but we believe we did indeed hear together as one.
Perhaps there will come a time when none of us can rely on that access, or indeed access to money and the services we have relied on all of our lives.
The speed of change in our world is quite breath-taking. Many of us did not believe that in our lifetimes we would witness the level of moral decay, institutional and governmental corruption, or the destruction of long held Christian values which for generations had been the bedrock and sure foundation of our society in Britain.
At Launde Abbey, we learned that change is now required of us, to meet the coming challenges and to be of help to the others – resourcing existing Bible-believing Christians and others who will soon come to faith, perhaps in the difficult circumstances of their lives. One of the strong impressions we left with was that we must consider carefully how we also support those who have no access to the internet. Perhaps there will come a time when none of us can rely on that access, or indeed access to money and the services we have relied on all of our lives.
We felt encouraged that although the way ahead seems challenging and we do not yet know how the Lord will provide the resources that will be needed, His message to us seemed to be very clear.
In summary, the way forward we were shown is a single new ministry structure adapted and changed to resource an ‘Issachar people.’ This will be a combined ministry structure that will be a standard for Truth to serve the faithful remnant, those who are God’s precious gems. It will be achieved through an improved online community website.
This will be a combined ministry structure that will be a standard for Truth to serve the faithful remnant, those who are God’s precious gems.
This online ‘window’ will be comprised of many different ‘panes’ e.g. news and views on what is happening, topical articles and prophetic insightful teaching; different ways of standing with Israel and helping people on the journey of understanding the Hebraic roots of the Bible; the online Sunday gathering and other online meetings as well as resources such as Biblical discipleship, online prayer groups and a prayer school; signposts in helping people find help in matters relating to health and social justice, and in their practical preparations.
We are thankful to all our supporters for their prayers and support. We will trust the Lord to show us every step we need to take and to bring to us the people and the financial resources that will be needed to turn the vision we were collectively given into a practical reality. We must work while there is yet light!
